With the online Vaccine Check tool, you can easily find out what waiting period might apply after the vaccination you received.

All vaccines that have been approved for use in Switzerland are covered by the Vaccine Check tool. If the vaccine administered to you is not on the list, please contact your regional blood transfusion service to find out about any waiting period.

Note regarding blood stem cell donation

For registration as a blood stem cell donor, there are no post-vaccination deferral periods.

For an actual blood stem cell donation (including pre-donation CT/VT and MC), the criteria and deferral periods are the same as those for blood donation. Exception: see COVID vaccination.
