Blood type compatibility
When a patient receives a blood transfusion, the blood type (blood group and Rhesus factor) of the person who donated the blood has to be compatible with those of the transfusion recipient, because otherwise the recipient would be harmed. Whose blood can I receive? Who can receive a transfusion of blood that I donate?
